Upgrade to Office 2016 or 365

This course provides an overview of the new user interface and features of Microsoft Office 2016.  Designed for experienced Office users who have worked with earlier versions of Office, and who have upgraded, the course covers the commonly used new features for a typical user.

Practical hands-on training in:

  • Explore the various user interface elements

  • Work with the Ribbon - tabs, groups, command buttons, dialog box launchers

  • Work with contextual tabs to manipulate, edit, and format a document

  • Use galleries to apply design features from a set of existing options

  • Quick Access toolbar

  • Customise the Word environment

  • A brief look at the Excel user interface

  • Where to find commands you used in previous versions of Office

  • A quick overview of new features in this version

Duration:    Half day

Recommended Prerequisites:

Attendees on course should understand how to use a prior version of Office.  Due to the nature of this course and the minimal prerequisites, there are some more advanced new features that are not covered in depth.
