The Education (Pastoral Care of Tertiary and International Learners) Code of Practice 2021

The Education (Pastoral Care of Tertiary and International Learners) Code of Practice 2021 makes sure that tertiary and international learners enrolled with New Zealand education providers are safe and supported.

The Code sets out the responsibilities that Sue’s Computer Training Co. has to ensure the wellbeing and safety of our learners.

• We take a whole-of-provider approach to maintining a strategic and transparent learner wellbeing and safety system that responds to the diverse needs of our learners.

• We work to build relationships with our learners to understand and respond to their diverse learner voices and wellbeing and safety needs.  Being a small provider we are able to offer an individualised approach where our learners mana and autonomy is upheld.

• We provide an online learning environment that is safe, supportive and positive for our learners.

• We strive to support our learners to manage their physical and mental health and can offer individualised additional support when and where needed.
