Upgrade to Office 2007

This course provides an overview of the new user interface and features of Microsoft Office 2007.  Designed for experienced Office users who have worked with earlier versions of Office, and who have upgraded to Office 2007, the course covers the commonly used new features for a typical user.

Practical hands-on training in:

bulletExplore the various user interface elements
bulletWork with the Ribbon - tabs, groups, command buttons, dialog box launchers
bulletWork with contextual tabs to manipulate, edit, and format a document
bulletUse galleries to apply design features from a set of existing options
bulletWork with the Office button
bulletQuick Access menu
bulletCustomise the Word environment
bulletSave a 2007 document in different versions of Office.
bulletA brief look at the Excel user interface
bulletWhere to find commands you used in Office 2003
bulletA quick overview of new features in 2007

Duration:    Half day

Recommended Prerequisites:

Attendees on course should understand how to use a prior version of Office, preferably 2003 or XP.  Due to the nature of this course and the minimal prerequisites, there are some more advanced new features that are not covered in depth.
